Tag is a project I developed during my experience with the Google Certified Innovator Academy. 

 

We were asked to pose a question in education, and then coached and encourage over the course of a year to develop a project that addresses our problem.

 

The problem I noticed in my classroom is students had become overly reliant on spellcheck and weren't learning how to spell correctly because of it.

TAG is a Google Chrome extension that creates a personalized spelling list based on the words your students are spelling wrong in their Google Docs and Slides, and correcting using spell check. 

​

I am also in the process of developing games and assessment to help students learn those words based on their lists.
